Janet Cooke

Creative Director + Designer

With more than 20 years of experience in marketing, branding, and creative strategy, Janet Cooke brings a unique combination of big-picture thinking and thoughtful design to every SkyHouse project.

After spending 15 years in corporate marketing, Janet founded SkyHouse Creative to offer businesses a more personal and collaborative approach to building their brands. Today, she leads the creative direction and strategy behind every project, working closely with clients and the SkyHouse design team to create brands and websites that feel distinctive, intentional, and true to the businesses behind them.

Her approach is rooted in strategy but never formulaic. Janet believes the strongest creative work comes from understanding what makes a business different—and translating that into a brand that feels as good as it looks.

Based in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, Janet works with clients throughout New England and beyond.

SkyHouse has grown into a small, collaborative creative team, bringing together different perspectives, ideas, and design strengths while maintaining the highly personalized experience we’re known for. Each designer was intentionally chosen for the unique perspective and creativity they bring to the studio—and, just as importantly, for how naturally we collaborate. The result is a thoughtful, collaborative process that brings greater creativity, versatility, and fresh perspective to every project.
